The European Cosplay Gathering is a new cosplay contest on European scale.
After national selections during festivals, the finale will take place at Japan Expo Paris. Each country will be represented by a solo Cosplayer and by a group of two or three people.
Behind the competition, ECG wants to offer the opportunity to the best cosplayers all over Europe to preform on the greatest cosplay stage of all, to meet people sharing the same passion and to live one great experience. This tournament creates links between fans of every country, reinforcing the popularity of Japanese pop culture in Europe.
The winners of this contest, one solo and one group of 2 or 3 cosplayers, will be crouwned chanpions of the ECG in Paris at Japan Expo Paris.
